“Lament” is a famous ballad by the great jazz trombonist J.J. Johnson. Johnson recorded the composition with his trombone colleague Kai Winding. The original arrangement recorded by Johnson and Winding featured a guitar, but this part can easily be played by either a guitarist or pianist.
